Neat & Tangled August Release Week: Day Two

Hello everyone. It is day two of Neat & Tangled’s August Release Week and today I have a fun card for you featuring the NEW Grateful Heart Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies.

To check out the entire NEW release or to shop the Neat & Tangled online store (CLICK HERE!) and happy shopping.

Make sure you are commenting all of the design teams blogs to increase your chance of winning the prize each day. Giveaway winners will be announced Friday on the Neat & Tangled Blog.

Today’s card is a black and white monochromatic card that is perfect for those more somber occasions or it also works for just creating a more sophisticated appearance.

I started with a piece of Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock cut to 4 3/4 by 3 1/2. I loaded the largest flower from the set into my Original MISTI and arranged them to stamp toward the bottom left hand corner of my card panel. I prepped my cardstock with my EK Success Powder Tool and stamped the images with Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Ink.  I then used Ranger White Embossing Powder to heat emboss the images. I used my Wagner Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder and gave it a few minutes to cool down.

This panel was then popped up onto a Simon Says Stamp Fog card base cut and scored in an A2 sized portrait orientation.  I used black craft foam and tear tape adhesive to adhere them together.

I then stamped the smaller two images from the same Grateful Heart Stamp Set onto Neenah 110 lb. Solar White Cardstock with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. I used the coordinating dies to cut out these two smaller flowers.

The two smaller flowers where then popped up onto the front panel using Craft Perfect Foam Squares. I also added a few of the NEW Sophisticated Enamel Dots also in the Neat & Tangled August Release.  I love how the large glossy enamel dots stick out to just a little shine.

Thank you for visiting my blog today,

Koren
