Hello everyone.
Today I'm sharing with you a FREE cross-stitch pattern that I made to match a quilt that I am making. I was inspired by Brittany Lloyd of Lo & Behold Stitchery. I'm participating in her Summer Pop quilt along this June and being that I've recently become obsessed with cross-stitch, I decided to make a matching pillow using this pattern. You don't have to make a pillow with it. You can do whatever you want with it, it's FREE. It's also super easy and kid friendly. This pattern can easily be stitched on larger stitch count material for a larger finished design.
The design makes an 8x8 square (112 stitches by 112 stitches) that I plan to sew into the center of a 22 inch custom pillow. I chose 14 ct. Adia fabric in Mystic Grey.(CLICK HERE!) Summer Popsicle Cross-Stitch Supplies List This was the best match I could find to the background fabric of the quilt. I will be updating my progress over on instagram and I plan to share my finished project here on my blog. I'm currently finished the border (that looks amazingly like a waffle cone) and I have started the actual popsicle image itself. I've chosen colors of DMC floss that coordinate with the fabrics Brittany chose for her quilt kit for the QAL.
