The One with the My Favorite Things Friend-Chip Card Video

Updated: Dec 21, 2021

Hello everyone.

Today I am sharing with you a cookie-inspired card. It's a shaker cookie card using some NEW goodies from the My Favorite Things December release. I'm using the Friend-chip Goals stamp set and coordinating dies as well as the Friends Forever Circle Die-namics for this project. I will have more information linked below and in the description box on YouTube.

If you would like to shop the entire NEW MFT December release (CLICK HERE). Make sure you stop by the blog first to see all of the inspiration from the design team using the NEW products.

I used my Derwent Intense pencils to color this card. I've made a Kolour Map showing each marker I used. I like to keep track so that I can try and sometimes avoid, the same color combos.

I hope I've inspired you to create something today.

Make sure you check out what's NEW over at MFT Stamps.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today.

In general, the dial layouts, for both color iterations, are well devised. I really like the crosshairs in the running seconds subdial, and the use of what link appear to be radial pattern sub-registers that bring another element of texture to the dial. Contrast is king here and link everything is working towards the end result of producing a very legible watch, functional link in the modern context but instantly recognizable as something with a vintage bent.

And, if you have time to visit the official NOMOS Glashütte website, you'll be able to see just what I mean about that clear link boldness link of this model especially, as well as the link more muted but no less attractive Metro.
