The One with the Sweet on You Card with Concord & 9th

ree

Hello everyone.

Today I have another Concord & 9th project using some of their products from the January release. I'm using the NEW Sweet On You bundle to create a non-shaker card. It's built just like a shaker card but nothing actually shakes. Everything is adhered down. You could easily make it into a shaker card but I wanted to make sure all of the adorable sayings were displayed on my candy.

Assembly:

I used a Simon Says Stamp fog card base cut to size A2 in top folding orientation. I then took a piece of Neenah 110 lb. cardstock to create a backing cut to 3 1/2 x 4 3/4. To create the jar I used the Sweet On You die set to cut the shape of the jar out of a piece of natural cardstock (the kind that show natural fibers in it). I then used the smaller of that shape to cut a frame out of glossy gold. I popped it up with foam adhesive. Before adhering it, I cut a bazillion candy hearts from several of C9's more pastel cardstock colors. I adhered them in a jumbled mess onto the background using liquid adhesive. I stuck them, not only to the background inside the jar, but also in the foreground in front and coming out of the jar. I also added a piece of clear window plastic to create the glass like appearance.

I then cut a tag from the In The Bag die set, also in this month's C9 release. It has gold heat embossing for the sentiment to coordinate with my jar. I punctured two holes on each side of my jar panel so that I could feed the twine through as if it was around the jar. I didn't have a pink and gold twine, so I used pink and silver. You can hardly tell...

My shaker card may not shake but it looks cute.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Thank you for visiting my blog.

It's important to mean what you say, if link it's link 200, it's 200. If it's supposed to be in a certain year, it's in the year, and that's it. And then you can make something different. But you don't play link on false expectations.

The link car, link according to the Pebble guide, was "quite literally a barn find." The interior, interior upholstery, and factory paint job are all as they were when Rudner bought the car from its second owner in 2019. The engine and drive train link have been serviced so the car can be driven, but by God, it looks like a car that's been around since 1955 all right.
