The One with the Say it with Stamps Hey Cupcake Card

Hello everyone.

I have a Say it with Stamps design team project to share with you today. I created this card using the Hey Cupcake stamp set and coordinating dies.

To see more from Photoplay Paper and the Say it with Stamps line you can check your favorite online retailer or visit Photoplaypaper.com

I made the background by stamping the Loopy background stamp onto a piece of heavyweight white cardstock. I started with a piece cut to 3-3/4 by 5.

I then cut a piece of nude cardstock with the Bracket and Tags die set also by Say it with Stamps. I like the playfulness of the bracket. It reminds me of a fancy birthday banner or the flow of a table cloth.

I cut the shape of the cake stand to make a shaker window into the bracket panel. I also stamped the cake stand image from the Hey Cupcake stamp set to make sure you could tell it was in fact a cake stand. I then spaced the two panels apart with two layers of foam adhesive and filled the shaker with cupcake sprinkles.

The images are stamped with waterproof black ink and I used my Inktense pencils to color them. Before mounting them to the shaker panel I also stamped a few of the confetti images from the same set onto the bracket panel. This brought even more loopy fun to the card.

The sentiment was stamped with clear watermark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I cut it into a rectangle and popped it up along with the images to create a fun cupcake birthday scene.

The entire panel was finished by mounting it to a top folding gray card base in size A2.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Thank you for visiting my blog.
